Blakehill Academy project: Smart-board presentation and project guide which assists pupils to prepare a 'pitch' for their ideas to be used in the conversion of their school to an academy including the school's timetable, classroom layout/content and extra-curricular activities. Pupils are required to not only imagine and design the school, but calculate the financial implications of their decisions. An engrossing project which can easily fill a week of the post-SATs curriculum!
A post SATs project to keep a whole class stimulated and engaged with a cross curricular approach covering maths, English, art and PSHE. Children research and prepare a presentation on a wide range of aspects of the running of a theoretical academy including time-table, classroom design and extra-curricular activities.
A detailed presentation exploring the history of the Mafia and their representation in popular culture. A great resource to use when beginning projects on European countries, crime or popular culture - particularly good for stimulating the imagination of those hard to reach boys!
